View projects created while completing my Diploma of Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in Bedford Square, London. My tutors were Peter Salter, Warren Chalk, Jeanne Sillet, Andrew Walker, Pascal Schoning, Mike Gold and Robert Harbison. The work is included here for review of design skills, point of view, execution and rigor of production while I was a student at The AA from 1984 to 1993. The emphasis of the projects, given the freedom to design in the academic environment of the AA is exploration of weather registration, geographical design drivers, urban/ suburban sensibilities and unabashed loyalty to the ancient craft of ship design and construction.

Constructed Buildings
After completing my education, I was fortunate to begin my career with several highly technical buildings including laboratories, clinical and research buildings for neurology, transportation infrastructure, hospitals, corrections facilities and corporate campuses. Eventually, projects for higher education institutions such as Stamford University and University of Washington gave me the opportunity to execute projects using BIM tools and contribute to the design direction of these projects. One project using BIM tools resulted in a virtual 3d construction phase with 100% structural and mechanical coordination of those disciplines in the model and resulting documents.
